Our hiring process
We’ll make sure you’ll have a great hiring experience with us
Interviewing for a job in Avallone should be a great experience, nothing less! We want you to feel informed and relaxed throughout the process, and we are highly aware that we have a big responsibility in making that possible. This we do by being fully transparent about the process, and what happens when and with whom.

1. Screening interview
Initial screening interview made by our Talent Acquisition Partner
- Approximately 30 minutes
- Online

2. The first interview
Interview with hiring manager and one or two colleagues from the department from the team you will be working in
- Approximately 60 minutes
- In-person or online

3. Case interview / Technical session
At this interview, we will ask you to unfold your great skills and ways of thinking by solving a case that is relevant to your area of work. For candidates applying or an engineering-related position, this may be more of a technical session.
- Between approximately 75 to 90 minutes
- In-person or online

4. Test assessment
We use a widely recognized set of tests for all candidates. The results form the basis for a dialogue about your strengths, motivation and values
- Completing online tests: 100 minutes
- Dialogue about results: 60 to 90 minutes
- Online

5. Meeting with Avallone’s founders
If you haven't already met them in one of the previous sessions, you will meet at least one of our founders for a final interview and mutual introduction
- Approximately 30 to 60 minutes
- In-person or Online

6. Final decision
The final step is a joint assessment meeting by everyone who was a part of the interview process. We’ll call you as soon as possible after this meeting to give you feedback on the final decision
- Approximately 15 minutes

We want to make sure that Avallone is the right place for you and that you are the right person for Avallone. Therefore, we use extensive tests as part of our recruitment process to understand and validate your key strengths, your key motivations, and the degree of value alignment. This is always matched against the actual role you are applying for. We understand and appreciate that test results are just a part of the data that forms an employment decision - therefore, they are not the only truth but input to help us all to make better decisions.
We use the test as input for dialogue and where you will always get plenty of opportunities to comment on the feedback and insights. We use the Hogan’s personality assessment and cognitive test, as we believe these tests are some of the most accurate and efficient tools on the market for predicting candidates’ performance.
Our People and Culture employees are certified, as well as highly experienced in use of these tests and will always do their utmost for you to have a great experience during the mutual discussion about the test results.
